Best to check the weather forecast before setting out, show's do sometimes get cancelled at the last minute, this is out of our control. Please Note Regarding scheduled Events: Simulated Coursing will be at selected shows only, as advertised. Lurcher Straight Racing will be on every show day unless otherwise stated in advertising. Many thanks. border anni-what about our terriers,I work my terriers along side my lurcher and so they merit some show time as well and I bet I aint the only one that feels that way.I could also raise the issue that I am finding some lurcher clubs dont want terrier's,they are an afterthough to put a few more quid in the kitty.I aint bragging but one of my boys was lucky and took the terrier champ.at the shropshire game fair back in august and what got to me was the fact that we were totally ignored, not just me, but all of us terrier people.Photo's and names were taken of every dog,man,woman and child at the lurcher ring but no-one came near us terrier people. We have mainly SBTs as a group and have always found both Lurcher World and Coursing Crew more than accommodating in putting on extra show rings and running / coursing specifically for us as our dogs are not your traditional workers in the most part, chat to the organisers if you feel aggrieved, good lads and lasses all of em, all the ones we have had dealings with anyway.
