I would like saome information how do you go ratting with ferrets? I go ferreting for rabbits alot but no one here would ever use their ferrets ratting but im becoming interested.Is a big ferret or small ferret used thanks in advance

hi mate stick to rabbits they dont damage the ferrets that much .a rat cornered is a dangerous creature for the inquisative rabbit hunting ferret ,leave the ratting to the boys who only use the ferrets for the sport of ratting,i have used a wild polecat strain of ferrets on rats and they have been bitten a couple of times,you need a very fast and agile small type ferret to tackle a rat,the big uns are not that good.
