Danny123 1 Posted January 4, 2010 Report Share Posted January 4, 2010 I went out with the farmers brother last week with the air rifles and lamp and accounted for a several rats, and I mentioned about giving our dogs another run out around the farm. So the next day we returned and joined the farmer and his 2 brothers along with the various farm dogs. Heres a few photos of the days events... The audience The rats thought we couldnt get to them...and so did we...but then one of the farmers brothers appeared with this: Then we moved on to another spot, and with the help from the Manitu we accounted for some a few more. I managed to find a dozen rats after we had finished, but due to moving things around with the tractor and a few of the dogs consuming the odd rat I can say we definetly accounted for quite a few more! gazzer 1 Posted January 4, 2010 Report Share Posted January 4, 2010 looks like a good day out mate,even more so with the machinery to give you a helping hand...you dont have to have hundreds of rats per trip to make it worth while,ive found weve had the best days on about a dozen or so rats,gets the dogs working and mooching harder and then you appreciate the rewards that little bit more.
