There bird of the woodland edge primarily,, But most farmland areas with plenty of hedges leading to woodland and small copeses. Quote Link to post
waidmann 105 Posted December 27, 2009 Report Share Posted December 27, 2009 just to point out that pheasant living wild will belong to someone( meaning you will need permission on their land). you may have trouble finding a farmer who will let you shoot game( vermin being easier to get). your best bet would be to either join a syndicate or rent the shooting rights from the farmer on his land and start your own little shoot( releasing birds of your own). that sounds easy but i'm afraid its alot of work on your own,just finding some well structured land can be hard enough. atb bud.
