Guest fence_hopper
she was this years young, not sure of age but a healthy small jill, the lad was gutted didnt bother me to much, i'm just abit confused. my little fella spent alot of time with them, tamed them walked around the street with them on his head right little nutter, since that he's not even looked at the one we had left so got rid to a mate. hopefully get him some more next year, young ones so he can bond with them again. Marksman 934
Its not unheard of for a young ferret to take a kick from a rabbit mate.....could have led to internal bleeding or such like. Bad news though mate Darryl Quote Link to post
Brimmer 220
Aye the little jills can take some hammering off a big buck, you know how it feels when you are stood on top of a shallow tunnel and feel them battering away. We had a jill years ago got both its eye's popped out from the rabbits foot giving it an uppercut. Shame to hear about it. Quote Link to post
whippeter69 88
Went ferreting once with my mate. We netted up, 2 ferrets in, 2 bolts, one ferret in the box waited for the other one to come out, got her, in the box went to next set and she was dead. We couldn't work out why, maybe kicked in the head or something. Quote Link to post
