A dog, a ferret and a walk in the afternoon sun.

I don't post my jaunts too often but I thought these pics were OK. I took one of my whippets and popped a collared ferret into my pocket.

 

Nothing bolted but we had a great couple of hours down by the estuary sand dunes.

 

Merlin loves the one to ones and he is really responsive when its just the two of us.

 

The bloody ferret wanted to keep making a new home in the empty sets and I ended up doing a Bruce Grobbelar type dive to stop her bolting back down. She wasn't very happy at that and made a real fuss!!

 

Merlin chased a few and came close, but the brambles and dying cover were perfectly balanced on the side of the rabbit.

 

We saw a yacht headed out in the still air, must have just been changing moorings. We also spotted some guys ruining a decent walk by playing cross country hockey.

 

Merlin found a dead mouse and decided that it was as good a thing to play with than anything else he saw today.
