Guest MOLLY
1st time ferreting this season. 1st time out for Fatty the young jill. 1st time for Khan, properly ferreting with nets. We tried a small warren only 5 holes. Doris is 100% marking so always comes along, she didnt mark this set but we decided to give it a go anyway. And true to form, Doris was right, not a thing at home, but it gave the furts a chance to stretch their legs. The second is one of the farmers barns, it is literally full of holes and the ground caves in beneath your feet, so he is desperate to get rid. It took 20 nets in total, inside and out. Waiting for a bolt Only 3 bolted. One got out of a net we were not near, another bolted and Khan caught, and one huge one in the net. Not many but a good way to spend a Sunday MOLL.
