Guest Lurchers2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Report Share Posted September 14, 2006 Alrite lads my brought my nine month old pup off lamping last nite only second time out and only one run as there were none about anyway he caught the rabbit and then he jus ran away with it running around with it in his mouth took me 15 mins to get the rabbit! Could someone please give me some tips with retreiving as this is my first lurcher thanks Quote Link to post
logman 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Report Share Posted September 14, 2006 I know how frustrating it can be but i would suggest that the worst thing you can do is to run after your dog in this situation. It just makes a game of it for them. I would personnaly turn off the lamp and walk away from the dog, the likelyhood is that they will come looking for you,hopefully with the rabbit still in their posession! Good luck Quote Link to post
