That said, the Spring Traps Approval Order(s) - I think JohnB or someone has them pinned, Trap and Snare board - allows you to use the Aldrich Foot Snare, in UK. That's for " Large, non indiginous carnivours ", which MAFF then did and DEFRA now will deny f***ing exist anyway. They allowed that law in so a mate of mine, expert in such matters, could capture any such non existant creatures for the government, before such a cat got 'out of the bag and among the pigeons', as it were. I have the Foot Snares. You'll have to get your own. Then learn how to use them. Of course; What you then do with a very live and completely pissed off large feline is entirely your own problem. I know of guys who've trapped cougar unintentionally and had to - by law of their location - release them unharmed. Jibbering " Mummy! " didn't help. Nor did wishing to christ it wasn't happening.
