Guest furryferter Posted September 11, 2006 Report Share Posted September 11, 2006 Ive recently raised a litter of lurcher pups most of the pups went all over the country from the far north of Scotland to the South of England & some places in between 3 were sold before the dogs were even mated ,with most of the lads staying far away they have choosen pups through photographs ,phone calls & preferances like sex ,colour,type of coat etc . There is a couple with white socks the one im keeping back for myself is brindle with 2 front white socks but two lads wanted pups (but i turned them away ) whithout white socks does anyone know of a problem with dogs with white socks ? has anyone owned a lurcher with white feet & had problems ? collie/grey 238 Posted September 11, 2006 Report Share Posted September 11, 2006 I think theres an old myth about animals with white socks, mainly to do with horses, avoid them i think, but imo it's total rubbish, colour doesn't affect an animals ability to work etc. Quote Link to post

All my collie/greys have white from their toes, half way up each leg, not socks really, but i haven't had any problems with them. Quote Link to post
