J Darcy 5,871
British birds are great, but they really screw with your head when things dont go to plan.... and mostly, they dont. I had aviaries for several years and enjoyed success, but i also had alot of failure........British Softbills were the real challenge i always thought......JD

para1 11
ive got 3 outdoor aviarys and i breed bullies, goldies, chaffys, greenies, siskins, lesser redpolls, yellowhammers and fifes Now they are birds worth keeping .I used to breed and show British.Good luck with them mate P1 cheers p1,some people dont understand it,but the pleasure i get from my birds far outweigh the heartache and theres plenty of that wi british birds No what you mean mate my biggest heartache was trying to get them bloody rings on, hens throwing them and young out the nest. All birds are nice but British are just a bit special. My other passion was lizard canaries. As I said mate good luck you will need lots of it.P1
