Guest Lurchers2006
Do ye skin the rabbits lads and where do you get this complete ferret food im in ireland Quote Link to post
Ron Weasley 83
You should be able to get complete ferret food from pet shops, or from animal feed suppliers. If not, look online, may be able to bulk order a load. I personally feed on carcass as much as possible. During the summer, mostly they have pigeons that we've shot, or mates and mates of mates have shot, during the winter, when its ferreting season, they'll get mostly rabbits. I'll pick up road kill partridges or pheasants often, and I have a few shooting mates that get me the odd squirrel, crow or magpie. Recently they've had goose that my mate only breasted. I'm not a fan of dried food, but other people swear by it, but you should give them fresh meat when you can, in my opinion. And no, don't skin the rabbits, just take the guts out. Quote Link to post

ferreterno1 0
The mackrel are for the dog's mate.. but the ferret's will eat them if i fling them in. Millet does anyone give fish to the ferrets, because my dad and i often go sea fishing and often things like mackeral, pouting, whiting and dabs dont get used up ive never thought about giving them to the ferrets Quote Link to post
