thinking about setting snares for supper

Been intrested in setting snares for a long time but never done it before.I walk through a wood every day and along a railway line,I see plenty of rabbit runs coming from the railway enbankment through the fence.Thinking about setting a couple of snares late evening and returning early morning to see if ive got my main ingredient for my winter stew.Going to set snares on fence am I leaving myself open to step in the smelly stuff.

best of luck mate. make sure you set them on runs about a meter out from the fence as a snared rabbit rattling about in a fence wiil alarm everything else along that fenceline

Just a thought, do you have permission from the land owner to put the snares down?

Fence snaring is deadly I have a field there to do, might have a wander out soon, clear the head..

fence snaring is a good way 2 get some bunnies for a stew just make sure u set the snares properly and theres no reason why you shouldent have some in the morning all the best pal
