got a 8 week old pup so got him on pro plan and he is not keen on it gave him meat and he loves it ,just wanted him on pro plan as well cause it a good allround food for coat and immune system or so they say ,any ideas would be a help thanks, also tried mixing them.

use mince meat and mix with only a little pro plan to start , soak both together with warm water for about an hour and gradually add more of the pro plan to the meals , also feed small meals regulary ( 4 times a day ). that should help .

personaly i would stick to the raw meat and feed the BARF DIET  forget the pro plan

follow the link it will tell you more about rearing puppies on barf diet

why piss about with pro plan , i get our pups on minced hearts at 3 weeks sometimes vary it with tinned cat food [ smaller chunks in cat food] they get warm milk in the morning and mince then minced sheeps hearts in the afternoon and maybe some soaked biscuit csj pup biccy for supper and theyve all done fine, just make sure you supplement the mother with calcium and vits and you will have no probs, at b top
