Ferret cough

Hi Folks,

One of my ferrets has developed an irregular cough(not constant if you get my drift),no signs of any swellings or obstruction,not contagious as the other one is fine,seems to be eating ok,no weight loss and is relatively active despite the lack of work due to the local mixy outbreak.

Can any members throw some possible light onto this condition as to its cause and-or possible remedy,any suggestions welcome apart from any that contributes financially to the vets new Volvo!

What are you feeding out of interest ? because when i fed chicks some of the ferrets developed coughs

mine does it all the time ive just put it do dust in the shavings even though they are vacumed.

Thanks for your replies,as for thier diet well that 's pretty diverse from dog food to cooked chicken,raw eggs and general leftovers,perhaps that could be the answer,try them on just one thing at a time and see if that makes any difference.
