For my own part; I'm just sitting here, destroying my stock of Guinness, and wishing to f*** I could simply stop finding such posts as have me aiming for that damn " Reply " button again! To be honest; I probably wouldn't know a good bottle of whiskey if ye hit me round the head with it. But at least I can genuinely say that I drink JD because I actulaly like the taste of it ~ unlike so many who just seem to like to think they're heavy rock musicians or what ever. Now, as for Irish Whiskeys? I honestly wouldn't know as I simply don't think I've ever had one. Obviously, I have heard Bush' Black's a goodie. Interestingly though, the biggest seller here seems to be ..... Oh gawd f*** me! With that the mind goes completely blank! Begins with a P anyway. It'll come back. Powers? What ever. Think that's it. See, a bloke here did me a favour and I figured to give him a decent drink. I asked, in the shop, what the tipple was and the kiddie said Powers. I pointed out to him that I didn't want some piss water that everyone drank because it was cheap. He was quite surprised by that and adamant that Powers is certainly Not a cheap one. It's popular because it's a good drop of stuff. Never tasted it, myself. Oddly enough, now ye mention it: Powers is ubiquitous here. Second one would probably be 'Paddy'. But, do you know; I've never particularly noticed Bush anywhere Just starting back in on the Guinness right now myself. F***in Love the stuff!
