i`ve been toying with the idea of breeding my bitch next year this is her 4 years old, 24" at shoulder

don`t exactly know her back ground but she has the stamina & prey drive like no other dog i`ve seen

and this is the dog i`m going to put over her, my brother-in-law got him a few months ago for free

and it turns out he`s a demon on the lamp, He`s whippet/ greyhound 3 years old & 22" at shoulder.

only breeding for myself and a few of my mates, can`t wait

I`m hoping that a cross between these two dogs will make good ferreting & lamping dogs

what do you lot think?

what breeding is your bitch?

i`m not sure of her breeding as i got her of someone who had no time for her,

but just by seeing her she is mostly sighthound, but i do think she has a bit of alsation

in her breeding way back, i would realy like to know her exact breeding but i don`t

suppose i`ll ever find out, wish i could though. :rocker:

here`s a better picture and one with my springer

She,d have a good bit of drive with a set of hams like that on her.

Think he means drive as in temperament rather than motion

she is a very fast dog, but she likes to crush things just that little bit better.

I had her out last night for a wee shine, first run she got one, as she was bringing

it back another got up in front of her she droped the one she had and wham she had

another within a minute, so what i`m saying is she would run all night as long as

there was something to catch, night after night.

by hams do you mean her back end.

IMO its not what's in the dogs breeding, but how it performs. if its a good worker and you can give the pups good homes go for it!

even if i did get a throw back i`d do my best to get a good home for any of the pups i breed most will go to freinds any way. cheers
