Guest Mr Keeps Posted August 31, 2006 Report Share Posted August 31, 2006 Could be one of three things Moll, too much manure just before planting the seeds, stoney soil ,or heavy ground , it could also be a combination of all three. Before sowing the carrots dig the soil well so it is quite fine, removing as many stones as you can,hope that helps you . Your turnips should be ok. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
