Tonkin 0
Hi there as i'm new to the lurcher world i thought i'd get some advice. A mate of mine has bred his Whippet x Collie bitch to his pure whippet dog, I would be grateful if someone could advise me as to wahat sort of dog this will produce. i'm not planning on working it too much just a bit of mooching maybe the odd night with the lamp. Also what coulours might the pups be? the bitch is white with a brindle ear and the dog is solid brindle. Finally should i go for a dog or bitch i already have a Jack Russel dog who has been neutered. Quote Link to post

No one can predict the colour of lurcher pups, there will PROBABLY be brindles, but expect othe colours as well !! As far as dog or bitch, that is an entirely pesonal choice; I've owned both and have no preference, even though I have three bitches at the moment, I had a dog kenneled here during the summer. Good luck with whatever you choose ! Cheers. Quote Link to post
