It was too dark and either the camera wasn't able to focus properly, or the shutter speed was too slow and blurred the pic. It looks out of focus to me... is it a phone pic? But the same rules apply - in order to record a decent image enough light must hit the sensor.

If you want to take photos in gloomy conditions you either need a decent flash or some other means of illuminating the subject, or you need to use a long exposure and keep the camera very still, resting it on a firm surface or tripod.

yup looks like low light one alright lol.... heres where a manual focus comes in handy, and the point nd shoots with the gigitl contols for focus just suck big time, bzzzzz to far bzzz to near bzzzzzzzz to near to far near far arghhhhhh...

thanks for the advice,and i think i have solved the problem ,i went ferritng this morning and took some snaps ,and they turned out the same ,the only person nearby who i could blame was my other half ,so i did,she then pointed out that the camra was set on close up,

Dont you just hate Know alls.
