I was out this morning and the Mk 3 collar came off, but my own fault, i did not put it on tight enough.

Luckyie, it was in the mouth of the barrow.

The collar is good, once put on tight.

I had that happen to me aswell unfortunateley it was about 5 foot down but for £45 i'd dig 8 foot! Lesson learned! But the mk3 is a good bit of kit now 1 year old and no problems.

Im happy with mine, have not had a collar come off, i check its tight enoug and check it wont come back off over the head. I kinda like the collars better than the mk1

I see, well i have a MK 3 and so far not bad, have not had a chance to use it much, no digs as yet, only one trip out. One thing is for sure, the collar has to be put on tight.

 

So i think i have spent my GIE well.
