snares snapped

hi all iv just started snaring and its easy but effective i am having a problem at the min i use coper wire that is quite strong and does the job but somtimes when i go and chech them next morning some of them have snapped any ideas what off im quite confused??? :hmm:

Copper wire is far to soft and breaks far to easily to be any good for snaring......you should be using good quality BRASS wire to do the job properly (not the cheap picture framing stuff either)

where can i get brass wire from but i dont want to pay too much if u no what i mean i use fixed fenced snares are they any good or not if so what should i be aiming for?
