ok so another of my daft questions but................

can any one explain the trajectory of a .22 250 to me??

i.e how flat or not it is and zeroed at 200 yards where would it place bullets at shorter ranges? 30-100yrds (high or low?)

i know alot depends on the rifle and loads ect but just a rough explanation will do, just trying to find a reason for a few missed foxes last night!

cheers

what have you got your scope set up at ? how far was the foxes you shot at and missed.

i set mine up at 1 inch high at 100 yards. and its flat out past 200 easy !

if a fox is closer then 100 yards i just aim abit lower on his body. what i will tell you is alot of people i spoke to about it missed a fair amount of stuff when they 1st had it because they give hold over when they didnt need to and the bullet was going over the top of what they where aimming at.

best thing to do is set a fox sized target up and different distance and see for yourself you will no the rifle then
