harrycatcat 31 Posted September 29, 2009 Report Share Posted September 29, 2009 Went to a field just drilled with Barley for an hour and a half yesterday and set up the decoys and got in the hide, before I had got my ear plugs in two pigeons came in to the decoys bang bang two in the pot. Got another 7 after that between 3.30pm and 5pm. Went today at 10am there were that many pigeons they were queuing up to get on the field it was like a scene out of Alfred Hitchcock's "Birds". Got on the field and set up all ready loads of cartridges in the bag, dog tied up, waiting aaannd waiting. Ragged up after an hour not a pigeon to be found not a f**ker, what a waste of time. Where do they go ? Are they in trees nearby laughing ? I think you have to have a few off times to appreciate the p*ss poor ones.
