two young polecat jills

ive just got two jills today but give one away two a mate who wonted one, should i have kept it two keep the other one company and what would you lads recomend feeding a young jill

You should've kept them both bud, there's plenty of kits around for your mate to have got his own.

 

I only feed fresh, Rabbits, Pigeons and any other bits of meat that comes along.

Rob do you feed rabbits, pigeons whole to ferrets or just the meat off them

I just skin and gut them out in the field and feed whole.

The Dogs eat the heads and have Rabbits that have been frozen a couple of weeks.

 

You could cut them in half, depending how many Ferrets you have, mine'll clear two a day.

ive got 2 that are still young ang they do a gutted bunny in 2 days ...cheap food lol

I dont always bother freezing them for the furts, i do the dogs, but if they get a nice fresh one and the furts need feeding they get it whole, nice and warm. I dont think furts suffer from worms etc so its not required.

You need another one, they love company.
