darrendark 0
right heres the story lads i was only allowed to get a dog as long as we didn't need get rid of the family cats and it could be treated like a pet (in the house etc) so i gave in (mrs is a veggie blah blah) so when she was a pup she was obviously inquisitive of the cats and they didnt like her and she was forever getting scratched on her nose, now she chases them first chance she gets but she runs by the side of them and just kinda sniffs them in mid flight (doesnt try picking them up etc) i take her out over the fields everyday somtimes with the lamp and she goes straight into hunt mode (creeping on her belly etc) she chases the rabbits but as yet shes not got close enough to catch one, mainly cos the summer grass is so long that they are not easy to spot unless they are already by a hedge. enough blabbering do u think that if she got close she would pick it up or treat it like the cats and just try "racing" them? daz Quote Link to post
