slipper 116
a few weeks ago my collie whippet started to really bulk up, even tho she was eating and running as normal, but then she started acting really scatty, hiding her bones i gave her and then she started to produce milk, so i took her to the vets for a scan just in case my other dog had had a sniff, but she said it was phantom pregnancy, i'd never heard of this before, i want to start lamping soon but she is too scatty to take anywhere i just can't snap her out of it, any advice very welcome, thanks Quote Link to post
CI HIR 13
A phantom pregnancy will usually last the full pregnancy term(9 weeks). If she`s producing milk she`s nearly done.My bitch had one last year. She`ll be fine straight after and back in shape in no time. Quote Link to post
