thurso jack 3
cheers millet i wasnt sure if it was as easy as that, ill do so, does it provide a better beam?? also does the battery need to be sealed?? just trying to souurce some locally to look after the ££££,s Edited August 17, 2006 by thurso jack Quote Link to post
Guest RobW71
Just adding to Millets suggestion, I use spade connectors that are sealed into a plastic plug(the type at the back of car stereo) the two ends will then clip together. I've found just using spades, they'll still come apart. You are better off with a sealed battery, long gone the days or nights rather, with acid dripping down your back. Guest RobW71
I use the 12volt 18amp/hr belt pack, 1- it works well with my scope lamp 2- I can't stand anything dangling from my shoulder. I'd leave the cigar plug on the Blitz and leave it in the truck Treat yourself, contact Deako Regards Rob Quote Link to post
thurso jack 3
cheers rob i guess it will be simpler, although i was at my local bike shop today and was quoted prices of around £40 for sealed batteries, but buying a kit probably makes more sense in the long run. Quote Link to post
Rabbithunter 456
BATTERY PACK get an old oil container and cut the bottom off it, attach a shoulder strap - hey presto I use a 16amp lead acid unsealed battery. There fore i use lugs rather than spades, and the bolts on the battery terminals hold these Quote Link to post
Guest RobW71
It's a good investment :thumbs-up: I'm getting a new striker, thinking about going for the variable. Regards Rob Quote Link to post
