Guest john5
well it wont be long now untill the fowling season starts (sept 1st) , of course the mallard will be the mainstay untill the wigeon and teal arrive, this year i am hoping to get some pintail on the west coast , last year i never even seen one !, the duck numbers already look good with early young already flying well, and the canada goose population seems healthy, heres hoping
cragman 2,832
I'm looking forward to a bit of flighting myself John. You can't beat the solitude of it. As for the Canadas...I'm at them ALL year long! Shot my first brace of Teal last season and had plenty of them coming in to my ponds. I've been told to get over to Southport to watch the wildfowl coming in around October time. Supposed to be spectacular.
