Outdoor_Jo 0
Hi all I origionally posted this to my blog but as they don't seem to get read that much, I thought I'd share in here. Mainly to see if i've managed to get the posting of pictured palava right, i know, bl00dy newbees Well, the weather didn’t look too conducive this morning, but as I hadn’t been out for a few days I was feeling a little stir crazy so decided what the heck. #2 son is staying over at the moment so when I said I was going out he decided to tag along, any excuse lol. Off we went into the wild blue yonder. As luck would have it, the weather soon perked up and things started to look up, just before it did though this came looming out of the mist, glad I wasn’t in there when it met its waterloo, a little sad really, was a formidable weapon in its day. Well the sun came out and as it happened, we weren’t the only boys with our toys up there, lots of big bangs and smoke galore. Time to park up and see if we can find anything for the old photo album, half an hour of gentle exercise finally rewarded us with this young fellah. BOO lol, ah well, was worth the effort after all. A good morning out for all concerned. all the best Jo

Outdoor_Jo 0
Thanks for the comments guys It is encoraging for a beginner, i'm just finding my way not only around a new hobby but a new camara as well. I bought it second hand and the guy hade made a lens filter for it (not available commercially i'm told ) which I recently lost, so i've no ski filter at the moment untill i find some way of making a fitting. Lindsay, you're absolutely right, it is the plain, I try to spend as much time up there as i can, its the ideal place to combine the 3 hobbies, its right on my doorstep, and the views of vast wide open spaces never ceases to take my breath away. All the best Jo.
