lurcher lass 9 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Share Posted August 27, 2009 hello everyone!! went for an off road cycle on the push bike with me daughter on the back and the three mutts running beside, was a fantastic ride, went through streams, through woodland, up and down ditches was great, dogs were shattered when we got home so i fed them and let them have a rest and hopped on the bus to sudbury to take a dip in the river and wanted to buy a book , , while my daughter was paddling with a net i met a man with a staffie x great dane which was an absolute stunning!!! nearby a family was spread about fishing, which having done a couple of times i like watching, but the father was simply one of those incredibly irratating people who ye really wouldn't mind stapling things to his head! he kept screaming at his six year old daughter as she kept going near his fishing rod!! and he spoke to his missis in a truly nasty tone . . but his son who was roughly 10 was a real gent, he hooked a couple of fish showed them to my daughter and told her she could take them home, he was very gentle with my daughter and spoke so nicely, who would have thought he was related to the idiot behind him!! HOWEVER now we have been landed with fish that to be honest i didn't want, i brought home bottles of water from the river, dug out the fish tank i wanted to sell from the shed, introduced the fish in slowly, fed them and they are now happily swimming round ,,,,the damn fish is all my daughter talks about and the names she's dreamt up i will never attempt to spell, but they are sweet really, though doubt they'll live long Quote Link to post Share on other sites
