dave1979 77 Posted August 26, 2009 Report Share Posted August 26, 2009 had to nipout last night to get the ferrets a bunnie,so put the air gun in the car and the dog in the boot!!! up the farm drive spots a rabbit..so gun out the window plink..that ul do 1 shot 1 bunnie!! so carries on to the farm yard parks the car and gets the spaniel pup out and heads back for the rabbit,hopin the pup will retrieve it!!! i was away from the rabbit for no more than 5 mins,gets back to the spot to were the dead rabbit should be but nothing!!! i can assure you this rabbit was stone dead..a bit mythed i let the pup off who quickly went in the cover and retrieves a completely dead and headless bunnie!!! as said..head completely gone...any body any ideas???? i reackon a fox musta beem watchin the rabbit from the hedge and nipped out and took it [bANNED TEXT] ad gone to park the car!!! jimmy0211 2 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Share Posted August 27, 2009 something like that happened to us a while back...went into a field and dog caught a bunny, quick chop and put it down by the gate, walked the rest of the field, saw a roe, ran a couple of rabbits and then when we walked back towards the gate saw the fox on the other side of the field with the rabbit in his mouth :@ cheeky little shit lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites
