Guest ADAM AND HIS DOGS

I HAVE ALWAYS VIEWED WHIPPETS AS A SPECIALIST RABBIT DOG WITH EARLY PACE. BUT WITH THE SPEED COMES LIGHT BUILD AND LOWER RESILIANCE TO KNOCKS AND TUMBLES, NOT THAT THEY ARE FEEBLE. ALSO THEY ARE COUL RIFE AS THEY ARE SOL LIGHLY MADE HARDLY IDEAL. AND THEY ARE THINER SKINNED SO THE OLD BARD WIRE IS EVEN MORE OF A NIGHTMARE. BUT ONE THING TO WATC THESE WEE DOGS WHEELING A TURNING A RABBIT IN THE LAMP OF FLEEING THE FERRET IS QUITE A BUZZ.

I have worked whippets for many years lamping ferreting ratting also racing Lure coursing a lot of people think a whippet is a tiny weedy skinny frail dog the weight limits for whippets are from 14lbs to 32lbs & 21inch(dogs) 20 (bitches) for racing many show & coursing lines are above these weights whippets are good at ferreting but dislike a frosty winds whippets are good lamping dogs but can lack the stamina of a bigger lurcher whippets are good bushers & ratters & whippets are game little coursing dogs given fair law pre *** they are not everyones choice but most who try a good whippet will always come back & own another one IMO

they are rabbit dogs imo,and thats the end of it.

yes you do get the ODD one which takes fox, hares need to be run from under your feet to be caught.

ive seen a few run and are explosive of the mark, but seem to tire very quickly, they are awesome at daytime rabbit catching.personally i wouldnt have one,but different people like different dogs, try and have a look out with a few different people and different dogs, see what catches your eye
