SportingShooter 0
Using your General License, don't quite understand that as you aren't issued with them. They are not the same in England and Wales. There are some species on the General License in Wales that are not in England and vice versa. SportingShooter 0
You don't have to carry or have any copy of the General License(s) to still be bound/protected by them. They issue a single license that covers anyone, you just need to abide by its conditions.
bobndog 0
Yep, as Sportingshooter says, you don't need one, and according to BASC you can't get one as they are not issued to the public, also there are 30 general licences so how you have been "using one for many years" is confusing. From the BASC site; WALES General licences in Wales are valid from 1st January – 31st December 2009. The Welsh Assembly Government has not made the licences available online but BASC has provided downloads of the most relevant licences on its website at: www.basc.org.uk/content/pestandpredatorcontrol Details of the relevant General licences are here; http://www.basc.org.uk/en/utilities/docume...41D5B8E04111389

Every year I contact the Welsh Assembly and they post me a general licence, this year I contacted them and they emailed me the licence direct, this then expires at the end of the year. I don't understand how you can say that they are not issued to the public as I have never had a problem getting one. W.D
