Wearing glasses while out hunting

Recommended Posts

Guest oldskool
Right been to the opticiations :icon_eek: ,

And they have said iam long/short (i cant remember) sighted bla bla,

Iv had them a short while now and what a diffrence they make didnt realise how bad my eyes were,

Well the only problem iam having with them is they Steam/fog up when iam out lamping, and when its raining its even worse,

Is there any thing you can buy/do to make them stop steam/fog up, there must be a few on here that were spec's and incounterd the same problem what do yous use???

Because i cant go on like this :wallbash: ,

Thanks T 7

(And no one say just wipe um  )

i wear glasses too mate, your right they are a bollocks but you can wear a baseball cap in the rain, that helps me a bit!!! the steaming up bit is a bit harder to deal with but its like everything else, you will adapt

Already wear a baseball cap mate  , And ya that does help alot as it keeps 90% of the rain off.

Its the steaming up bit i cant handle, your have one of them long runs on the lamp and 30 40 seconds in to it and they start foging up, you cant rip em and wipe um cause you have to keep the lamp on, If yous know what i mean

anti fog spray, fecksake, why didnt i think of that... my mates are all bikers and no doubt one of them will have it... being a specky 4 eyes is a pain in general but it never caused me much upset... mine do steam up a bit so i try to wear them further down the nose to get the air round them?? helps a bit :)

Tis a pain in the ass wearing glasses but needs must. I fell over lamping last year and landed on my face ... had to use my fingers like windshield wipers to get the mud off them   Took 'em off for my walk home and had two clean-ish rings round my eyes!

You can get anti fog stuff but it doesn't really help. I had some and it did sweet FA.

That's why I recommended a bike shop. Do you have any idea what happens to people who sell stuff to bikers that doesn't work?

The stuff I had was from an optician's in Canada so probably not as good as the biker stuff. And I agree ... wouldn't want to sell something to a load of bikers that didn't work
