Rabbithunter 456
I took the dogs out for their walk today, went to a spot that i was keeping the dogs away from (high crops/young roe - not a good combo for dogs) Well, i was hoping to give the dogs a run on a few rabbits, but as i went into the second field, this field is a grazing field, with about 5 yards of grass cut round the border of the field, with the middle of the field being "knee-high" i was greeted by a young roe. I obviously spooked him, and he was off into the woods. Then up popped a roe buck from the middle of the field. Off he hopped into the woods, I havent seen this buck since april. So perhaps tommorow evening i will be having a trip out with my mate, his tikka and the buttalo call Also, seen plenty of fresh "tracks" through the reed beds at the bottom of this field. From a distance, this buck looked like a good 6 pointer (maybe thats just my "buck fever") but hopefully, we'll have him in the next few days Quote Link to post
