Gimli 0 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Share Posted August 5, 2009 Hi - just back from a fantastic two weeks in South Africa. Cape Town to Shamwari (nr Port Elizabeth) and back. Great safaris in Addo and Shamwari, spine-tingling shark cage diving in Mossel Baai and gut-churning food poisoning in Cape Town. If any of you are going to the Eastern Cape hunting - look in on Shamwari for a photographic safari. It was fantastic - two lion prides, plenty of cheetah, leopards, elephants, both types of rhino, brown hyena and loads of buck. I'm still recovering from the food poisoning and flight or I'd write more. Here are a few pics - more to follow. The ones here are a brown-hooded Kingfisher, a Cape Weaver, a cheetah and a plae chanting goshawk in Shamwari and a spotted hyena on an old Kudu kill at night. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
