Sorley x 32
Nah keep them, they could well make useful dogs. They will be racey enough to do the business and the terrier will give em plenty of pluck. Where you at? Quote Link to post
Guest Dale
north east , and i thought the same its just i dont want a litter of unwanted pups , theres to many about in this day and age should be intresting to no how they turn out though? regards Dale Edited July 28, 2006 by Dale Quote Link to post
Sorley x 32
I've seen a couple of litters like that in c/w over past few weeks. I know someone who is looking for a bitch bred like taht but I'm sorry to say that they won't travel, which is annoying. One of the guys i spoke to who had a litter and bred them intentionally for bushing dogs and was keeping back pick of litter for himself. I would say that enopugh people on here are interested then keep em. Quote Link to post
Guest Dale
im sure i could travel to were people are regarding the will take care of the pup(s) , how many average would this sort of size dogs produce? .. im not going to be looking for large amount of capital for the pups either , regards Dale Quote Link to post

pointer28 1
I'd keep them, I used to have a Lakeland x Whippet which was an accidental mating and he turned into one of the best dogs we ever owned. Obviously not a dog for coursing hares, but fantastic for ferreting, hunting cover and ratting, real allrounder. I'd buy one off you myself but I'm in Ireland. Quote Link to post
Guest Dale
the thing is i dont go near rats ect , i mainly lamp rabbits , fox , now i dont think they would be usefull for fox but rabbits ? .. wat u think? .. i do ferret though :-) Quote Link to post
pointer28 1
I used mine for lamping rabbits and he was grand, caught a good few for us, not as fast as some crosses but he was extremely intelligent, and he came from a very game line of Lakelands so he had no fear of foxes, although he was a bit light to kill one on his own when lamping. Like I said, I thought he was a great dog, I'm looking for something similar at the moment but can't find anything suitable. I want something small and quick, but it needs to be tough, that's where the Lakeland blood was so good. Quote Link to post
