I've seen a couple of litters like that in c/w over past few weeks. I know someone who is looking for a bitch bred like taht but I'm sorry to say that they won't travel, which is annoying.

One of the guys i spoke to who had a litter and bred them intentionally for bushing dogs and was keeping back pick of litter for himself.

I would say that enopugh people on here are interested then keep em.

I'd keep them,

I used to have a Lakeland x Whippet which was an accidental mating and he turned into one of the best dogs we ever owned. Obviously not a dog for coursing hares, but fantastic for ferreting, hunting cover and ratting, real allrounder.

I'd buy one off you myself but I'm in Ireland.

I used mine for lamping rabbits and he was grand, caught a good few for us, not as fast as some crosses but he was extremely intelligent, and he came from a very game line of Lakelands so he had no fear of foxes, although he was a bit light to kill one on his own when lamping.

Like I said, I thought he was a great dog, I'm looking for something similar at the moment but can't find anything suitable. I want something small and quick, but it needs to be tough, that's where the Lakeland blood was so good.
