just wondering what all the different colour lenses are for on the gun lights i.e. blue, green e.t.c

i understand that red is used when ratting as they cannot see this colour??? might be wrong but thats what i got told lol

just as earl has said and from my experience dont use green or blue on rabbits as they run a mile the green they are a little skittish with but the blue they run like hell

depending which tesco torch you have

if its the AA 1 the DebenTracer Stinger filter fits them or these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=280291689235

and if the C cell 1 then i believe the logun lamp 1's fit

I finally got to use my Tesco Cree Torch last Friday night!

Nowhere near as good as I had heard  Okay out to 15 maybe 20 yards, anything further was a definate no-go!!

I'd gone through all the info, got a mount, made a remote switch, but for bunnies in a field :nono::thumbdown:

close work and in buildings they are the dogs nuts though :clapper:

I'm going to follow Robs advice and get one of those :D

rats see ultra violet..(blue spectrum, at dusk and dawn they can see very well, after that well...they can see lol just.

rabits see in green white...

dear rabbits use orange/red filter (rats too)

most veggie critters see in green and white.

ithink blue shows up blodd better though, green no idia till the above post.

yellow sometimes works on rabbits etc....(pink red and orange yellow for fog, red for better retained night vision when the light goes off...).

edite din.. forgot to say all can see light imtencity, e.g. a 10 million candle powered filter still hurts like hell in the eye ball......concider most have wide open iris's then boooooooooooooooooom on goes the hi powered ligh....

Which one did you get? I got the bigger one and it shines bright to 80/100 yards at night easily

are we saying that they are good or not then? ive bought the mount but havent nipped for the torch yet so it would be handy to know wether i'm going to waste my money or not.

i would start a poll but i'm sure aaron will help me out with that :clapper:

I'm not sure if we're comparing apples with apples here. the one I have is definitely good to 100 yards. I'll take some pictures tonight if you like
