Must be in scotland or borders, looking for a young dog to bring on, not worried if it hasnt seen anything but must be from working stock and quite racey, good home awaits with plenty of work for the right dog.

Not having a stab at you mate, but try getting a pup thats about 10 weeks old. Earlier you get them, the better.

 

Dont rush into getting an 8 month old pup so you can run it this season, patience is a virtue

very true .. very few will rear a pup to that age and just sell it for no good reason

Next time you are down the A9 stop off at the Munlochy animal aid centre just before the Kessock bridge, they always have lurchers in, don't mention you want one for hunting! Lady who runs the centre is very nice, she has returned terriers to me who I have lost out hunting and been picked up by well wishers.
