Ratting Again

Recommended Posts

Met up with my mate (langleycharmer) and we took the dogs down to one of our permissions, the weather was moody.. we had alittle mooch by the bales but not much there.

We went up on the silo's and the beddy marked, so langley dug down abit, i was watchen my russel when i heard langley shouting!, turned arround and it was running towards me along the wood.. i got the pup onto it and he didnt half nailed this one, there was a fair bit of blood .. moved on arround the back and the dogs started marking again.. one rat bolted and vanished into the rough! the pup & russell went back at the and pulled out 3 pink tiny rats.. so must have been a nest.. we went inside the out buildings and all 3 dogs were goin mad marking this wood pile, so me and my mate started shifting it! took us a while and langley said he saw one bolt underneath somemore timber, we moved a few pieces and found a big hole going out side, the little b*****d went straight through it.. was good getten out with the dogs again, and one rat is better than none.. and pup is only improving each trip.. good stuff.
