Guest The Shaman
Gents, I'm after a replacement for my Webley Axsor. I find I'm getting the shots on target 100% when I can support the rifle on a fence post or knee, but for shooting whilst standing my accuracy is for shit to say the least. The gun with silencer is very long and heavy, and I am on the short side of the scale I cannot keep the muzzle still enough for the killer shot. Therefore I want to trade my gun in for something shorter (possibly carbine), without losing out on build quality and accuracy and would appreciate any comments you have. (Apart from going to the gym, wearing a leotard, pumping iron and all that crap) I don't do gyms just bars. Quote Link to post

Guest The Shaman
I have now traded the Webley Axsor for a Webley Longbow springer, it's sounds deafening compared to the whisper of the Axsor but is is almost carbine length with a resettable safety which makes up for that. Have any of you got/had a Webley Longbow, I would appreciate your comments. Quote Link to post
Guest The Shaman
Just spent some time in the back garden zeroing it in - very accurate. I hope I don't get a lot of scope creep, like I did with my other springer, might have to change the mounts if I do. Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
Longbow is a fine rifle but won't be as accurate as your Axsor. They're not too bad with recoil so the only reason to replace your mounts will be if they're shit in the first place. Quote Link to post

ChrisJones 7,975
Will you give us a run down after you've used it for a bit? I've only had a limited play with one so I'd be curious to see how they go on in the field. Quote Link to post
