hi yes we are mate cheers, the thing with it is its a new thing and realtree sells, yes the realtree is a bit expensive but i have never asked any one on here to buy one, and the plain colours start at £20 if people think £20 pound is to much for a box for your ferrets that work for you all day then what can i say

Any one want a Realtree pattern put on your, gun, FERRET BOX or fag packet, the firm that does it is Hydrographics, based at Acaster Mabis, near York.

They advertise in some of the gun mags, I could dig the phone number out if anyone wants it.

So the its no great secret putting patterns on.

I, like others am really interested in what these FERRET BOXES are made from, not wood and not plastic?

I agree

No doubt they will sell my interest is what benefits a box made from a top secret material are before i purchase it you say the ferret wont sweat in it does it have any heat deflective properties ect? would having a black one interfere with those properties? dont get me wrong i think £20 is very fair price for a box of any material, wether it costs me 20 quid or 20 grand is irelevant to me My wooden box does what it says on the label it gets ferrets from A to B nothing more do these do anything more?

Quite honestly, after this thread, I can't see anyone in the know buying one. Who the f*** would want to be seen with one now, and put up with the inevitable questions and ribbing they'll get?

Personally, I have two ferret boxes here with me right now. One's a valuable antique. The others a modern, craftsman made Bow Back. Haven't got a ferret to my name and there's barely a rabbit in the entire area! F***in useless!
