Rabbithunter 456
Never realised when your head to head with someone bidding on something that both of you really want is so bloody hard. I was bidding on window grilles for the van so the thieving scum cant get in the back, 6 minutes left i was outbid. I finally got back on top of the bid, after pressing refresh every 10 seconds to check time remaining, i got to about 15 seconds left and was outbid. I bid an extra fiver, still outid, then added another couple of quid, and beat again. I lost the auction, but got a "second chance offer" to buy them for £30 (bargain when you see they cost £65 brand new) any way, im going to use them obviously for my windows, but as a template so i can copy them and sell on :11:
Guest oldskool
sometimes the b*****ds use a different user name to bump up the bidding. then if they push it too far they offer u a 'second chance offer'. a wee tip-- if u are dealing with a person who has more than one to sell then u are better putting an offer u think is right and wait because quite often u will get a second chance offer anyway! its better than bidding like mad and paying too much because of frustration, ebay encourage this with wee hints like bid now and 'hurry dont let it get away'
