beetle help fecking things

stubby, yours looks like a great diving beetle. if you look at the carapace, is there a tube running around the bottom edge? it has a join just under the back end of the wing case. when they are in water they hang with their arses at the surface and their heads down, breathing through the tubes.

you one looks more like a meal worm bettle stig check the loft chimmy for birds nests.

 

You are right I took one to college today to find out what it is and the morio beetles (giant mealworms) that we feed to the exotics are the exact same. So if you see them in your house you may have meal worms :S

good that worked

spray with ficam and use a non toxic dust under the carpets loft space etc like oa2ki but you must check for old birds nests etc .

if you dont know what i am talking about get a pester in.
