unlacedgecko 1,467 Posted July 2, 2009 Report Share Posted July 2, 2009 stubby, yours looks like a great diving beetle. if you look at the carapace, is there a tube running around the bottom edge? it has a join just under the back end of the wing case. when they are in water they hang with their arses at the surface and their heads down, breathing through the tubes. You are right I took one to college today to find out what it is and the morio beetles (giant mealworms) that we feed to the exotics are the exact same. So if you see them in your house you may have meal worms :S JoeD next question fellas whats a meal worm do the worm turn into beetles . and how do i get rid ? more info lads ... Quote Link to post
