Falling block shotgun

This is purely out of curiosity. Some years back I read about a French shotgun - sbs with Martini falling block action. Apparently they are/were top class guns. Name began with a D, I think. Any info?

The Greener GP had a falling block action. The french Darne was more of a sliding breech action.

Sliding blocks They look normal when closed, but when the breech is open it looks as though, if you mounted it, the breech would poke you in the eye, i'll see if I can find a picture.
