Guest Fishaben Posted July 12, 2006 Report Share Posted July 12, 2006 (edited) Hi all, I have been fly fishing recently to my local fly fishery (Roughlee trout fishery) and in 2 days, a total of 9 hours fishing I caught 1 fish. You would think that fishing in summer would be easier for trout but its totally the opposite, very hard. And my other local I rang (Raygill fisheries) said that the fishing there has been very bad. Its mayhem. Im just waiting until I go to my favourite fly fishery (Kilnsey trout farm), that is a great place, the least I have had there in a day is 11 and the most is 32. The water is crystal clear so you can see and cast to the biggest fish. Anyone ever fished at any of the bracketed fisheries??? Ben Edited July 12, 2006 by Fishaben Quote Link to post
