pointer 543
Tonight i had a look out with Half and Half. This place often isnt easy to shoot on as the rats are mainly inside small buildings and with livestock and machinery everywhere it can be hard going.Still we got a few but once again i left the litter picker at home so couldnt get all the bodies. I havent been able to do much shooting over the last few weeks so its good to be back out.Ill be making up for lost time thats for sure. Quote Link to post
Freddy Watts 1
Good shooting pointer and half and half. Pity about the picker but you still shot them which is the main thing. keep it up. ATB Freddy Quote Link to post
pointer 543
I managed 7 tonight(even the litter picker couldnt get one out) but should have had more,i felt tired and didnt really feel like going.Still its a few more to add to this years tally. Quote Link to post
pointer 543
Ive had another couple of late night trips out this week but mainly just to give the dogs a run around..........good sport but not always all that effective. Last night i popped out at 11.00 for an hour and took nine rats three of which were shot on top of the slurry pit so no chance of retrieving those. There wasnt very many about last night. stealthy1 3,964
You've got these rats under pressure. Quote Link to post
pointer 543
I need more of them. It dosent take long for an air-rifle to sort out a bit of a rat problem Quote Link to post
pointer 543
heres a really dumb rat that was safe from the dog when being filmed but once id swapped the dog for a gun i spotted it again when in another part of the barn 20 odd yards away.then it was an easy shot with the gun rested on a gate.
