In his book 'A Weasel in my Meatsafe' naturalist Phil Drabble talks about a whole load of animals he's tamed - including Stoats and polecats.

 

You should be able to pick up a cheap copy or get one in the library. I can't remember the details but I do know he's bred them.

 

They've got copies on Amazon for about £4

I know that they were difficult to breed in captivity
